Last Updated: April 16, 2026

1. Introduction

Offbookly ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Offbookly mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App and related services (the "Services").

By using the Services, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

Data Type What We Collect Why
Account Information Name, email address, profile photo (if provided) Account creation, authentication, communication
Authentication Data Credentials from Apple, Google, or Facebook Sign-In (OAuth tokens, unique user ID) Secure login without us storing your social media password
Your Content Screenplays, scripts, and text you upload Provide the core script-parsing and rehearsal services

2.2 Information Generated Through Your Use

Data Type What We Collect Why
Generated Audio TTS audio files created from your scripts Allow you to replay rehearsal audio across sessions
Parsed Script Data Scenes, characters, and dialogue extracted by AI Enable the rehearsal experience
Speech-to-Text Transcripts During a rehearsal, the App captures audio from your device's microphone and submits it to your device's operating system speech-recognition service (Apple Speech on iOS, Google Speech Services on Android) to generate a real-time text transcript of what you said. Offbookly receives only the text transcript; the raw microphone audio is not stored by Offbookly or transmitted to Offbookly's servers. Detect your spoken lines, measure rehearsal accuracy, and drive the rehearsal state machine
Usage Data Features used, session duration, interactions Improve the App and fix bugs
Device Information Device type, OS version, app version Ensure compatibility and troubleshoot issues
